First Ever 3-D Restoration of a Saurodon
This is the first restoration of the skeleton in three-dimensions. The only complete skeleton in existence is represented by the in situ cast on the wall, which was used as a guide for correct placement of the fins and vertebral column length. This skeleton cast is a composite, based upon original fossil material collected by TPI field crews. No one knows what the predentary bone was used for, or why the teeth of the lower jaw extend far beyond the upper teeth.
