June 1 Planet Earth FotoFest kickoff

Earth Awareness at its best,
this is the perfect time to get out with
your camera and take some great photos of the wildlife and
scenery of the area.
Deadline for entries is Sept.30th.
Saturday Nov 14th at 2:00pm - Awards ceremony
Lecture: "Top Ten Ways to Improve Your Photography" by Ken Wyatt
will immediately follow the awards ceremony.
Workshop for the winners is Sat.
Nov. 14th.
There will be two workshops for winners:
Beginning Digital Photography at 9:30 a.m.
Advanced Digital Photography at 11:00 a.m.
Winners may choose which they want to attend or they may attend
both.
The judges for contest will be:
Kenneth Wyatt—-professional nature & commercial photographer
Ralph Holloway—art gallery owner, photographer
Adam Lechnir—---professional
wildlife photographer
We will have a “People’s
Choice Award” voted on by
the public in addition to
the other prizes awarded.

Ken’s Bio:
Award-winning photographer,
Kenneth Wyatt has been
photographing nature,
wildlife and travel
locations for 35 years. He
has written and photographed
articles about photography,
and other subjects, for
numerous technical and hobby
magazines, such as
Backpacker,
Nature Conservancy and
Outdoor Photographer. He
also writes for newspapers
and Web-based electronic
magazines. He presents
seminars internationally on
subjects including digital &
travel photography, digital
workflow using Adobe
Photoshop and he leads photo
tours around Colorado and
the West. His prints are
available through the Seven
Arrows Gallery in Woodland
Park, CO.
