June 8, Sat 11:00am to 3:00pm...Outdoor Family Fun Day...stay tuned for more details...Wally’s Tamales and Bootleg Dave with good things to eat for sale.  Rocky Mountain Wildlife Foundation with Mark "Wolf" Johnson, Gold/Rock Panning, Chalk painting with Corbin Hillam, Nicol Houghland from The Resource Exchange will provide additional kids activities, Car Seat Demo’s by Laura Kent, Shale Splitting, Face Painting with Theresa Clifford, Balloon art by Dwyane Faux, Wooden toys and accessories by Katie Temple,  Woodland Park Police Department will be on hand with a crash car and rollover simulator, The Fire Department will have a real fire truck for the kids to check out, Woodland Park Mason Lodge - child fingerprinting, Kindermusik by Lisa, Welcome Home Warriors table.   Meet and have your photo taken with Ms. Colorado State America 2013, Michelle Marie, who will be here “to promote my platform of inner beauty and meet more people in this incredible state I represent”.

October 19, Sat ... Air Force Academy's Fred Kontour will have 2 presentations each 45 minutes to 1 hour long at 11:30am and 1:30 pm...watch for details

October 26, Sat 1:00pm to 3:00pm...Halloween Celebration..."Fantasy Forest Puppet Workshop"  The Fantasy Forest Entertainment Co. featuring Cathy Kelsay, will present a playful puppet workshop at the Dinosaur Resource Center.  Learn how to be a puppeteer and make your own bag puppet.  The fun continues when you learn how to laugh, cry and do motions with your very own puppet and put on a puppet show with all the other kids.  Be sure and wear your Halloween costume and join in our contest and parade right after the workshop.  Prizes ($25.00 gift card) will be awarded for the Prettiest, Scariest, Funniest and the Best Dino costume.  There will be stories, treat bags and lots of fun for all!  Remember the date, October 26 at 1:00pm.

November 9, 10 & 11, Sat, Sun & Mon...Veterans Day...1/2 off regular priced admission for active and retired military with ID

November 23, Sat 1:30..."Turkeys, turkeys all around--on the fence and on the ground...Gobble, gobble, what a sound!"  Strut on down to the Dinosaur Resource Center for a turkey bonanza with puppeteer/storyteller Cathy Kelsay from Fantasy Forest Entertainment.

November 28, Thur...Thanksgiving Day...RMDRC will be closed

December 14, Sat 1:30pm..."Reindeer rollick, snowmen dance and bells ring for a jolly good time with the dinosaurs at the RMDRC."  Mrs. Claus will share her stories, songs, and yummy cookies for all visiting "elves".  Hope you will be here, Santa and Mrs Claus will be waiting!  Ho-Ho-Ho!!
